TREND REPORT: FRINGE
For a while now, a 1970’s vibe has been making its way back into today’s trends. The next up and coming statement from this era is FRINGE: skirts, dresses, tops, but especially jackets. This is a trend we are definitely getting on board with! It can simply add a bit of flair to your casual outfit or top off your bohemian look with the perfect accent.
Fringe was a common theme as a garment accent in Fashion Week Fall 2015, mainly hitting the stage from Burberry and Tom Ford. Now this trend is influencing celebrity style icons and designers, soon to be making an appearance in our favorite brands.
It’s a look Olivia Palermo has been rocking since this past winter, and designer Elie Saab has been putting out plenty of fringe for this fall/winter season herself. From a classic black jacket and black cape to this colorful and layered version, the trend is making a huge statement.
