francesca’s has been in the news lately about its fashion missteps and declining same-store-sales. A search is now underway for a new CEO. The Fashion ID team visited a few stores in Northern California to check out the boutique’s potential. The bad news – older stores are in poor locations and are looking tired. The good news – recent store remodels are beautiful, and there are Spring trends in their assortment that look like green shoots of growth! francesca’s – is a style recovery underway with its new Spring fashion?
An visual update from Dylan: I like the color palette for spring, it is earthy and vibrant at the same time and seems to be on trend. francesca’s also seems to be getting a nice balance between really modern cuts and silhouettes and slightly funky, slightly Coachella-like prints and detailing. I love and I think they are going to do well this Spring!!
