Behind the Scenes at PFW SS 2018

Dior Exhibit

“The Dior exhibit was by far the one thing I was most looking forward to on this trip. As a lover of fashion, any time I hear of an exhibit related to the topic, I must see it. I truly felt lucky being able to see the Dior exhibition on its last day. From the moment I walked in, I was immediately blown away. It’s one thing to see Dior’s pieces in a magazine but to get up close to one of his works and see every bead and stitch, was incredible. As I mentioned previously, I have been to many fashion exhibits but nothing comes close to the grandeur of this one. Room after room, I was in awe. It was truly breath taking. Every dress was another reminder of the time and energy that gets put into each piece of clothing that is created. Each dress is a piece of art, or rather, a masterpiece.”

Tony Ward

“Words can’t even begin to describe how incredible working Paris Fashion Week was. It’s been a dream of mine for so long to have the opportunity to be a part of something so cool. One show I was lucky enough to work for was Tony Ward and every single one of his dresses was magical. Getting the chance to be up close with his pieces and see all of the detailing was amazing.”

Christophe Josse

“I absolutely loved working for the Christophe Josse show. Every piece was designed to perfection and the neutral color scheme was beautiful. Not only did each outfit look amazing on its own, but all of the pieces together looked so cohesive. I also loved all of the accessories that helped complete each look.”

Georges Chakra

“Watching Georges Chakra’s show was a dream come true, I really loved being able to see fashion shows from both perspectives. Having the backstage experience makes me appreciate every show even more than before because I now see the hours and hours of work that gets put into a ten minute show.”
